Residential Caregiver / Direct Support… at Siffrin · Youngstown

We are looking for a reliable and caring Residential Caregiver / Direct Support Professional to provide daily living assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.

Our residential support team helps individuals maintain a comfortable home life while encouraging self-direction, personal dignity, and meaningful daily routines.

What You Will Do

• Help individuals follow their preferred daily schedules.
• Prepare meals and snacks while following dietary instructions.
• Provide supervision and support.
• Encourage individuals to make everyday decisions and maintain as much independence as possible.
• Maintain complete, timely, and factual service notes and other required documentation.
• Accompany or assist individuals with community activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum age of 18.
• GED or High School Diploma
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work scheduled shifts
• Successful completion of required pre-employment background checks and other applicable screening.
• Willingness to complete additional training for assigned individuals, including any required health, behavioral, or medication-related supports.

Prior experience in residential caregiving, home health, personal care, or disability services is a plus but not required.

The selected candidate must comply with applicable Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) requirements and agency policies.
