Job Description
Summary: Sierra Nevada Corporation is a global leader in aerospace and national security, seeking a Business Applications Analyst Intern for Summer 2026. This internship provides hands-on experience in business operations, working alongside industry experts and participating in real-world projects.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in actual projects and contribute to team objectives by completing assigned tasks
- Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in your field
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports as required
- Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements and team goals
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices
- Participate in workshops designed to provide a deeper understanding of the business and company culture
- Effectively communicate ideas, progress, and findings to team members and leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship
- Must have been SNC Summer 2025 intern
- Currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented
- Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods
- Proficiency with computers and office equipment
- Manual dexterity for handling office supplies and equipment
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment
- Ability to travel may be required
- To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or work experience in a related field
- Familiarity with the Aerospace and Defense industry
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and software
- Microsoft Access skills
