Job Description

They are seeking a Quality Test Technician to ensure quality standards are met through inspections, testing operations, and troubleshooting in their Fort Worth, TX facility.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the quality standards and applicable codes are met through completing inspections, design reviews, testing operations (mechanical) and troubleshooting
- Deliver specialized support services towards mechanical testing support for electromechanical equipment (e.g. Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, etc.)
- Test and inspect the mechanical aspect of Switchboards, Panelboards, and Breakers to applicable standards (UL1558, UL891, IEEE, UL50, UL67, etc.)
- Preparing finished units for shipping (packing, sealing, labeling, etc.)
- Perform inspections/audits of mechanical assemblies while maintaining all the related records and reports
- Understand and train ISO Quality Requirements, Product Safety Requirements and JHA
- Performs other work as advised by Supervision
- Interact with various of departments and customers routinely
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to pass NFPA70E certification; training will be provided by Siemens
- Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language along with Blueprints/engineering drawings
- Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring/inspection tools
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- SAP Experience
