Shine Brite connects local businesses with vetted commercial cleaning companies. Our team books in-person walkthroughs with offices, clinics, daycares, property managers and industrial sites. We're looking for an experienced estimator who lives in Kitchener, Waterloo or Cambridge to walk those sites with the client and send us an accurate quote.

What you'll do

- Visit booked walkthroughs in person in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph (usually 30 to 60 minutes each). All walkthroughs are on site, never by phone or video.

- Walk the site with the client and note square footage, washrooms, floor types, traffic and how often they want cleaning

- Mention one-time services like floor strip and wax, carpet and window cleaning

- Send your quote within 24 hours using our quoting sheet. We approve the final client price, so you never quote or promise a price on site.

What we're looking for

- You live in Kitchener, Waterloo or Cambridge

- 2+ years in commercial cleaning, janitorial supervision, facility management or a similar field

- You've priced or bid commercial cleaning work before (a big plus)

- Comfortable and professional with business owners, office managers and property managers

- Valid driver's licence and your own vehicle and phone

- Usually free on some weekdays during business hours, when most walkthroughs happen

Pay

- 15% of one month's contract value for every account that signs after your walkthrough. Example: a $1,500/month account pays you $225.

- 20% on accounts you bring in yourself. Example: a $1,500/month account you found pays you $300.

- Commission only. No hourly pay, base pay or per-walkthrough fee, and walkthroughs that don't sign aren't paid.

- Paid within 7 days after the client's first payment clears, with a statement showing each account.

How it works

- Independent contractor role, not employment. You sign our contractor agreement, which is governed by Ontario law.

- You set the days you're available. There are no fixed hours. If things aren't working, we sit down together and look at results rather than hours.

- Walkthroughs depend on bookings and aren't guaranteed.

- You do the walkthroughs yourself and can't pass them to anyone else.

- You cover your own vehicle, phone and travel costs, and handle your own taxes and HST.

- Client, pricing and partner information stays confidential. You also agree not to approach the businesses or cleaning companies you meet through us on your own, during the agreement and for 12 months after.

- Either side can end the arrangement with 2 weeks' written notice.

- You'll get an orientation from an owner with 30+ years in commercial cleaning, who joins your first walkthroughs.

- Semi-retired supervisors and facility managers are very welcome.
