Summary: Shelter Insurance Companies is dedicated to serving its clients and is currently seeking a Junior UX/UI Designer. The role involves supporting the Digital Strategy group by providing user/customer experience and design support for internal and external applications and websites. Responsibilities: - Member of Shelter’s Digital Strategy group supporting key business functions by providing user/customer experience and design support - This role will provide support for internal and external applications and websites - This role will also be a member of the Digital Strategy team and support other corporate projects Required Qualifications: - Portfolio of work or Project Examples are required - Understanding of user experience and customer experience concepts and practices - Understanding of basic web site design and design tools - Ability to learn new technologies quickly - Ability to communicate with different stakeholders; technical and business - Educational background in human factors, psychology, communications, journalism, design or other related fields or prior experience in communication, journalism or design roles.
