Backend Engineer II at SHEGLAM in Remote

Summary: SHEIN is a global online fashion and lifestyle retailer, and they are seeking a Backend Engineer II to participate in all phases of the software development life cycle. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing and reviewing code, and providing mentorship to junior team members. Responsibilities: - Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle - Collaborate with English and Chinese speaking teams to troubleshoot online quality problems - Work closely with English and Chinese speaking cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve software issues - Work with documentation and tooling in Chinese language - Participate in requirements review, design planning, and implementation - Engage in requirements gathering sessions to clarify new feature and system needs - Write code according to design requirements and coding standards, create technical documentation, and ensure code quality and performance - Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on design documents - Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and identify improvements - Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members - 10% domestic travel for business meetings and technology support Required Qualifications: - Master's degree or a foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field, plus 1 year post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any Software Engineering related job titles - Written and spoken Chinese language is required - 1 year of experience in Retail supply chain optimization - 1 year of experience in Enterprise mobility management (EMM) - 1 year of experience in Front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js - 1 year of experience in Java and related technologies - Spring Boot and MyBatis - 1 year of experience in OSS technologies including Kafka and container technology including Docker and Kubernetes - 1 year of experience in Mobile application development on the Android platform with Kotlin and Flutter - 1 year of experience in Large Language Model Operations (LLMOps) Required Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes Important Skills: Retail supply chain optimization, Enterprise mobility management, React, Angular, Vue.js, Kotlin, Flutter, LLMOps, Chinese language Nice-to-Have Skills: Code reviews, Mentorship
