Job Description
As a NodeJS Backend Developer, you will be required to lead the Back-End Development team alongside the Front-End Development, Design, and Product Development teams to ensure all components and elements are delivered efficiently and consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Align and communicate between the Back-End Development, Design, and Product Development teams to ensure the success of each development sprint
- Perform planning for all front-end related projects
- Design, implement, and maintain back-end systems
- Ensure all components and the codebase are consistent, secure, and meet industry standards
- Optimize the back-end for maximum speed and scalability on all screens
- Conduct R&D and introduce new features to enhance user experiences
- Ensure all codes and components are reusable for future use
- Perform consistent code reviews
- Apply and practice SCRUM ceremonies for each project
- Motivate and mentor team members
Qualifications:
- Experience with Backend Technologies like ExpressJS, Kubernetes, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS services
- 4-5 years of experience in back-end development; experience with front-end development will be a plus
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of key UI/UX design principles
- Strong exposure to modern technologies, including NodeJS and cloud architecture
- Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Keen to deliver quality and testable code through planning, documentation, coding standards, unit testing, and integration testing
- Fluent in Git
- Strong understanding and experience in seamless CI/CD processes to achieve one-click delivery
- Excellent exposure to Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- Ability to conduct all SCRUM ceremonies
- Passionate about developing new ideas and approaches with demonstrable and sustainable continuous improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with experience in multicultural environments
