Summary: SharkNinja is a global product design and technology company that develops consumer products under the Shark and Ninja brands. The Mechanical Engineer I will take indoor heated product concepts from design studies and CAD through prototyping, testing, verification, and production in collaboration with global product development teams.

Responsibilities:
- Own design studies that crack real technical and consumer problems — solo and alongside the team
- Move an idea from sketch to CAD layout to 3D model to working prototype, fast, and use each step to prove or kill the concept
- Carry designs through concept, CAD, prototyping, and verification
- Apply rigorous engineering fundamentals so solutions hold up in the real world, not just on screen
- Build and test prototypes in our on-site labs, then turn results into clear recommendations
- Partner closely with our UK and China Product Development teams so good ideas survive the journey to production
- Make your teammates better — we take a team approach, and everyone here has a voice

Required Qualifications:
- • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or similar technical field
- • 1–3 years in mechanical, product, or industrial design
- • Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo
- • Experience taking real products to market
- • Ability to identify, solve, implement, and verify technical solutions independently while working as part of a team
- • Comfort in a hands-on lab environment (training provided)
- • A collaborative, entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude

Preferred Qualifications:
- • Consumer goods or household appliance experience
- • Plastic manufacturing process knowledge
- • Working appreciation for electrical engineering, software, or UX design
