Site Engineer – Marble & Stone Works at SHABASH MARBLE in Sharjah

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer with strong experience in marble and natural stone works to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating with clients and contractors, ensuring proper installation, and maintaining quality and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate marble, granite, quartz, porcelain, and natural stone installation works at project sites.

• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, stone layout drawings, and project specifications before execution.

• Take and verify accurate site measurements and dimensions.

• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, foremen, and site teams.

• Monitor daily site progress, manpower, materials, and installation activities.

• Check material requirements and coordinate with the factory/store for timely material delivery.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and quality standards.

• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.

• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports, material requests, and other required documentation.

• Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients and follow up on approvals.

• Monitor workmanship and minimize material wastage and installation defects.

• Ensure workers follow project HSE and safety requirements.

• Ensure assigned works are completed within the project schedule.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marble, natural stone, or stone installation works.

• Strong knowledge of marble and stone installation methods, finishes, and site execution.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.

• Good knowledge of site measurements and quantity verification.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with contractors, consultants, and project teams in the UAE is preferred.

• UAE driving license is an advantage.

• Candidates with experience in a marble/stone company will be preferred.
