Job Description
Summary: SEW-EURODRIVE is a company focused on maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and completing necessary maintenance logs.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment
- Refill oil and coolants as needed in the course of working on equipment
- Assure all equipment is functioning properly before leaving assigned task
- Use measuring tools, hand and power tools, utility equipment, and AMP/Volt Meters (AC/DC)
- Accurately complete maintenance logs, work orders, weekly maintenance worksheets, and other paperwork requested by the Company
- Follow all OSHA requirements for confined space, lockout/tagout, and emergency evacuation procedures, etc
- Perform other tasks as requested
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to perform all tasks listed above to the Company's expectations
- Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work
- Ability to appropriately handle stress and interact with others
- Must have mechanical aptitude
- Must have electrical aptitude
- Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Must have troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment
