Summary: Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, and they are seeking a Training and Development Specialist to facilitate training programs that support field operations. The role involves developing course curriculum, delivering instruction, and ensuring training programs meet the needs of the organization. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintains course curriculum - Confer with management and staff to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations, and changes in policies and procedures - Design, create, and update training aids, such as manuals, handouts, course exercises, and visual aids - Deliver instruction using multiple modalities including one-on-one, classroom, teleconferencing, web-based training, and computer-based training - Confer with management, internal training consultants, and HR to identify additional training needs, as required for new staff - Ensure ongoing feedback of training programs and modify programs as needed - Prepare and facilitate client-specific and clinical type training in addition to new hire orientation, CPR, and medical administration - Provide input regarding the formulation and modification of procedures and practices pertaining to agency training - Maintain current knowledge of organizational and industrial trends and make appropriate recommendations for new or updated training programs Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required - Current CPR/First Aid Certification as required by state - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines - Effective communication skills to manage relationships - Self-motivated and collaborative; a team player - Ability to travel throughout the Bay Area Preferred Qualifications: - One year of related experience preferred Required Skills: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Training Program Development, Curriculum Design, Instruction Delivery Benefits: Full compensation/benefits package for full-time employees., 401(k) with company match, Paid time off and holiday pay, Complex work adding value to the organization’s mission alongside a great team of coworkers, Enjoy job security with nationwide career development and advancement opportunities, Employee Referral Program bonus opportunities for eligible roles
