They are seeking an Engineering Intern to work on their proprietary laser powder bed fusion technology, assisting in various software and engineering tasks related to metal additive manufacturing. Responsibilities: - Assist in developing algorithms for geometry deformation, procedural geometry generation, and space-filling operations - Assist with simulation engineers to integrate physics-based and data-driven models into the software simulation pipeline - Assist in integrating 2D and 3D meshing techniques into the physical simulation software pipeline - Assist data scientists in developing and deploying machine learning algorithms - Assist with designing and developing the print preparation software pipeline for an advanced production-scale metal 3D printing system - Assist engineers on documentation Required Qualifications: - Undergraduate and graduate students in engineering disciplines - Good verbal and written communication skills - Work effectively with cross-functional and multidisciplinary team environments Required Skills: Cross-functional teamwork
