Crane Operator / CDL Truck Driver

Location: Watertown, South Dakota

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Crane Operator / CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting equipment and materials to job sites, operating crane equipment, and assisting with various field operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and experience operating cranes in commercial or construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate mobile cranes.
• Transport equipment, materials, and products to job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and equipment.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Read load charts and determine safe lifting capacities.
• Set up cranes, including outriggers and site safety measures.
• Assist with loading, unloading, rigging, and securing loads.
• Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and job site personnel.
• Complete required paperwork, logs, and inspection reports.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of assigned equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (required).
• Current medical card and acceptable driving record.
• Crane operator certification preferred (NCCCO or equivalent).
• Experience operating cranes and commercial trucks.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
