Job Description
Special Projects Manager
Office of the CEO ·
Mission
Act as an executional extension of Sendmarc's CEO, taking ownership of the strategic projects and initiatives that sit in the CEO's remit. Projects will vary in scope and subject, but all carry strategic importance to the company — this role exists to make sure they move from decision to done.
Why This Role Exists
Strategic initiatives -the ones that shape how the business grows - require the CEO's focus and attention alongside day-to-day demands. Without dedicated executional capacity these intitiatives can slow down or stall entirely.
This role exists to close that gap: taking ownership of priority projects on the CEO's behalf, supplying the research and analysis needed to make good decisions quickly, and keeping communication moving across the business so initiatives don't wait on the CEO's calendar. Better execution in the office of the CEO means faster decisions and less drag on the work that matters most.
Who We're Looking For
You're an executional machine who gets energy from turning ambiguity into forward motion. You don't wait to be told exactly what to do, you see what needs to happen next and make it happen, whether that's chasing down a decision, pulling together a briefing, or picking up the phone.
You bring order and structure to messy, high-stakes situations without over-engineering them, and you communicate proactively rather than waiting to be asked. You want to work close to the centre of the business, inside a young, entrepreneurial cyber security company built on autonomy, mastery, and purpose. And you're comfortable being the person the CEO can hand a strategic problem to and trust it gets solved.
Outcomes
The core outcomes this role is accountable for:
- Project Execution Own and drive strategic projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO from end to end, ensuring they are executed effectively, on time, and to a high standard regardless of subject matter.
- Communication & Coordination Act as a central point of contact for internal and external communication tied to these projects, keeping stakeholders aligned without requiring the CEO's direct involvement in every touchpoint.
- Decision Support Supply the CEO with the research, data, and analysis needed to make high-quality decisions quickly — including prepared briefings and presentations.
