Job Description
About Us
Founded in 2020, Seeto was created to take away the hassle of business technology and IT management for startups. We assume the role of our customers’ tech team, freeing up their time to focus on what truly matters to their business, while we concentrate on delivering excellent service, the best tools, and top-tier IT support.
The Seeto team is an expert in what we call the ‘Seeto Stack,’ which includes Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, Okta, Gemini, Copilot and more. We investigate new technologies, refine our processes, automate and integrate the tools we select, and provide proactive support and improvements to our customers.
We focus on delivering high-quality workplace technology from the moment a new starter joins a business. We are committed to three core principles: employee experience, productivity, and security.
The Role
We're looking for an ambitious, highly motivated, and service-delivery-focused individual to join our small but mighty team. As a Technology Operations Manager (TOM), you will be the bridge between technical excellence and high-quality service. This is a primarily remote position. Occasional travel is required for in-person meetings, conferences, or customer site visits. The role reports directly to the Technology Director. You will act as the Strategic Service Lead for our customers, managing their "concierge" style delivery and ensuring the health of the Seeto Operating Model. This role requires a balance of high-level commercial governance and service management expertise to ensure our customers receive a seamless, proactive experience every day.
What you’ll do
- Service Delivery: Own the end-to-end service experience for your customers, ensuring SLAs are consistently met and exceeded.
- Project Delivery: Act as the primary lead for technical projects, taking full responsibility for the successful rollout of solutions, including MDM (Jamf/Intune), Cyber Essentials remediations, and other tech stack improvements.
- Strategic Partnering: Conduct discovery and diagnosis for new and existing customers, lead post-sales onboarding, and manage long-term roadmap building; proactively identifying technology gaps and proposing roadmap additions that improve customer security and productivity.
- Continual Service Improvement: Regularly review service performance data to identify trends, refine processes, and implement improvements to the Seeto Operating Model.
- Relationship Management: Lead fortnightly check-in calls to build and maintain trusted relationships with customer teams and stakeholders.
- Technical Escalation: Assist the service desk team with complex support requests and serve as the final technical authority when needed.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide business technology training to customer teams and mentor internal staff on service excellence and technical standards.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Compliance & Security Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus framework and ISO27001 standards.
- Service Management Mastery: Deep knowledge of service management frameworks, including Change Management, Service Levels, and process design.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle, from initial scoping and technical discovery to final delivery and customer sign-off.
- Proven Experience: Significant experience in an IT Manager or Service Delivery Manager role, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Technical Authority: Expert knowledge of the Seeto Stack (Google Workspace, M365, Okta, Slack, etc.) and an understanding of InfoSec policies.
- A keen interest in technology and a desire to help growing businesses take control of their business tech.
- Commercial Mindset: Experience managing IT hardware/software spending and conducting vendor due diligence.
- Project Skills: Efficient project management skills with a self-starter attitude and the ability to prioritise dynamically.
- Communication: Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills; you can explain complex tech to stakeholders at all levels.
What you’ll get
- Flexible remote work environment with adjustable start and end times (within agreed limits).
- 25 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays) with the option to carry over up to 5 days each year (max 30 days).
- Paid day off to celebrate your birthday.
- Paid sabbatical after 3 years of service.
- Two company gatherings a year for team bonding, networking, and knowledge sharing.
- Access to online learning platforms to support your professional development.
- Support for a comfortable work-from-home setup, including standard work-appropriate ergonomic furniture and technology assistance.
- Two Wellness Days - Prioritising mental health with two 'no-questions-asked' Wellness Days per year, designed to help you fully unplug, recharge, and return at your best.
