Summary: Secretariat Advisors LLC is a rapidly growing firm specializing in legal, risk, and regulatory matters worldwide. The Intern for the Damages & Valuations team will engage in complex valuation and damages quantification practices, working alongside experts to address commercial damages and forensic accounting investigations. Responsibilities: - Conduct economic, financial, accounting, and industry research - Analyze financial and non-financial information, and summarize and report findings to team members and to clients - Assist with the preparation of expert reports (damages, forensic accounting, and construction quantum reports) - Assist with the preparation of rebuttal expert reports evaluating the conclusions of other experts - Communicate with clients and counsel - Prepare for and attend hearings, trials and mediations - Manage the day-to-day requirements of multiple engagements Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar, from an accredited university or college with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027 - Able to develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems - Able to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations - Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure - Excellent listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills - The ability to travel as needed - Must be authorized to work in the US with no need for sponsorship in the future Preferred Qualifications: - Pursuing CPA, CFF, CFA, CFE, or ABV credentials is a plus - Working proficiency in a second non-English language is a plus Required Skills: Accounting, Finance, Economics Important Skills: CPA, CFA, CFE, ABV Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills, Second language, Communication skills, Presentation skills, Problem-solving, Time management Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
