Job Description
Summary: Seattle Seahawks is seeking a Business Insights & Analytics Intern to support their Business Strategy & Analytics team. The intern will transform data into actionable insights that inform decision-making across the organization and collaborate with teammates to drive measurable business impact.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze structured, semi-structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities, translating findings into actionable business insights and recommendations
- Apply advanced analytics and data science techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, predictive modeling, segmentation) where appropriate, alongside foundational business analysis methods
- Support data cleaning, validation and curation efforts to ensure high-quality, analysis-ready datasets for reporting and insight generation
- Partner with stakeholders to scope analytical problems, gather business requirements and define success metrics aligned to organizational objectives
- Develop clear, compelling analyses and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Assist with ad hoc analyses, data cleaning, dashboards and insight delivery in support of strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Be currently enrolled as a junior, senior or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a college or university. Graduate school students are eligible to apply as well
- Coursework or experience in analytics, data science, statistics, economics, business, computer science or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and synthesize findings into clear, actionable business insights
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity and a self‑starter mindset, with experience navigating ambiguity and taking ownership of work in an environment that translates to a professional sports business setting
- Have authorization to work in the United States
- Be able to work 30 - 40 hours per week as well as game day/nights, weekends and other various events
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Python, Excel or similar tools
