A leading Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant – Pediatrics to join its established pediatric medical team.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, managing a broad range of acute and chronic pediatric conditions. The role offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment focused on high-quality, family-centered patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.
Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions and provide appropriate follow-up care.
Conduct routine pediatric examinations, developmental assessments, and preventive healthcare.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
Recognize and manage pediatric emergencies and escalate complex cases appropriately.
Monitor growth, development, nutrition, and overall child health.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care.
Coordinate patient care with pediatric subspecialists and other multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.
Medical degree from a recognized institution.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics / Paediatrics.
Relevant Specialist or Consultant-level clinical experience.
Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are encouraged to apply.
Strong clinical experience in general pediatrics and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Previous experience in a tertiary, teaching, or government hospital is advantageous.
