Job Summary

Leading hospital in the UAE is offering an opportunity for an experienced Consultant Visceral Surgeon with strong expertise in complex abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery. The role involves managing a broad range of elective and emergency surgical cases, working within a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to advanced surgical services and patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex visceral and gastrointestinal surgical conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency abdominal surgical procedures.
• Manage conditions involving the stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and related organs.
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and surgical planning.
• Support clinical teaching, audits, research, and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in General/Visceral Surgery.

• American Board certified in Surgery or relevant recognized specialty qualification.

• Western-qualified with consultant-level surgical experience.

• Strong experience in visceral, gastrointestinal, or abdominal surgery.

• Experience in a tertiary/advanced hospital environment preferred

• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
