As we continue to scale our operations and optimize our manufacturing facility in Al Ghail, Ras Al Khaimah, we are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Production Engineer / Production Manager to lead our shop floor operations, streamline workflows, and drive manufacturing excellence.

Position Overview

In this dual-focus leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing lifecycle from raw material processing to final product dispatch. You will bridge technical engineering standards with factory floor management—optimizing machine layouts, maximizing throughput, enforcing strict quality control, and leading a skilled team of fabricators and machine operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Direct and supervise day-to-day production activities on the floor to ensure targets, delivery schedules, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing workflows, machinery utilization (including CNC plasma cutters, coil lines, and lock formers), and material flow to minimize waste and reduce cycle times.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce rigorous quality control protocols for all air duct fabrication (galvanized iron, stainless steel, fire-rated, and acoustic ducts) in compliance with SMACNA and relevant international standards.
• Resource & Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and schedule production staff, technicians, and machine operators. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Maintenance & Facility Oversight: Coordinate routine and preventative maintenance schedules for factory machinery to minimize downtime. Support ongoing facility optimization and layout expansions.
• Inventory & Resource Planning: Monitor raw material consumption (sheet metal, insulation, hardware) and coordinate closely with procurement and project management teams to prevent bottlenecks.
• HSE Compliance: Ensure all factory operations strictly adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company protocols.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience in production engineering and floor management, specifically within the HVAC duct manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, or heavy industrial manufacturing sector.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, CNC machinery operation, ductwork specifications (SMACNA/DW144/BS476 Part 24 standards), and reading detailed MEP/HVAC drawings.
• Operational Skills: Demonstrated success in lean manufacturing, bottleneck reduction, shift scheduling, and managing factory KPIs.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage high-pressure project deadlines in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Candidates with experience in ducting and related products such as sound attenuators, Acoustic Louvres, dampers, etc. will be preferred.
