1. Engineering & Maintenance Management

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all machinery and utilities.

• Lead troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to minimize production downtime.

• Manage spare parts inventory, critical equipment list, and maintenance budget.

• Propose/support annual budgets for maintenance improvements and monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.

2. Project & Process Improvement

• Plan and execute engineering projects such as system upgrades, efficiency improvements, new equipment installation, and plant expansion.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, OEE improvement, reliability engineering)

3. Safety, Health, Environment & Compliance

• Ensure engineering operations comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and palm oil industry requirements.

• Lead risk assessments, safety inspections, and corrective actions for engineering-related hazards.

• Support waste minimization, energy conservation, and sustainability initiatives.

4. Leadership & People Development

• Supervise and develop the engineering, maintenance, and utility teams.

• Conduct performance evaluations, training plans, and skill development programs.

• Foster a culture of teamwork, discipline, and technical excellence.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to support plant operations.

• Report equipment performance, maintenance of KPIs, breakdown analysis, and project status to senior management.
