Summary: Scout Motors Inc. is reviving an iconic American vehicle brand and shaping the future of transportation. As an intern in the Procurement and Supply Chain team, you will gain hands-on experience while working on projects related to product cost optimization and supplier collaboration. Responsibilities: - Transforming top goals and KPIs related to product cost optimization into actionable plan - Facilitating internal idea generation cross-functional workshops - Facilitating external workshops with consultants such as A.T. Kearney, McKinsey, Care Soft and A2Mac1 - Organizing visits to competitive teardown facilities of Care Soft and A2Mac1 to generate more ideas for evaluation - Facilitating workshops with Suppliers for idea generation, tracking and implementation - Summarizing findings, preparing management presentations and weekly tracking reports Required Qualifications: - Be enrolled in a degree program for Supply Chain management, Data Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business or a similar field - Must be able to work from Novi, MI from mid-May to mid-August 2026 - Strong interest in rugged SUVs and Trucks, automotive engineering, and sustainable transportation - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work in a fast-paced team environment - Detail-oriented with a proactive and results-driven mindset Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools Required Skills: Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business, Microsoft Office, Analytical thinking, Results-driven mindset, Project Management
