Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Engineers, IT Business Partners, Security, etc.) and gather requirements for onboarding new data sets - Assist in developing data governance policies such as access control, data classification, standards and best practices for BI reports/visualizations - Participate in the enhancement of existing data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and the creation of new features to meet business requirements - Help implement observability and monitoring solutions for data workflows - Maintain clear documentation on data assets, metadata management, data cataloging and governance processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and make improvements to existing data platform processes Required Qualifications: - Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program for Engineering or Information Technology or a similar field as a Sophomore or higher - Must be able to work from Charlotte, NC from mid-May to mid-August 2026 - Strong interest in electric vehicles, automotive engineering, and sustainable transportation - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work in a fast-paced team environment - Detail-oriented with a proactive and results-driven mindset Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools Required Skills: Data Governance, ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines, Data Cataloging, Metadata Management, Monitoring, Microsoft Office, Project Management Tools
