What are we looking for?

We’re looking for people with a strong eye for quality, who are motivated to make sure the technology we build works as intended and delivers a great experience for the those who use it.

We want people who are inherently curious with a love for problem-solving and challenging themselves. You should enjoy collaborating with others and have a desire to learn and grow.

You’ll likely bring:

• A degree or equivalent experience (often in a STEM subject, but not essential)

• Excellent critical thinking and an investigative mindset.

Beyond that, we care more about your potential than perfectly refined experience. We’re more interested in how you approach problems and work with others:

• You communicate clearly and are comfortable working as part of a team.

• You can break down problems and think through possible solutions with a healthy level of scepticism and the ability to question assumptions.

• You show initiative - asking questions, trying things out, and taking ownership as you learn.

What you’ll get in return

We’ll offer you the right environment to give your career the very best start – allowing you to grow in confidence, skills and impact as you progress through our Graduate Programme and onto client work.

In your first months, you’ll:

• Take part in structured hands-on training covering core engineering and testing skills.

• Test working software as part of a team, putting what you’ve learnt into practice in the real world.

• Be mentored by talented, experienced colleagues in a collaborative environment that encourages the sharing of knowledge and expertise.

• Get the chance to earn industry-standard certifications.

As you progress to client work, you’ll continue to be supported as you build your confidence and take on bigger challenges over time. You’ll have real impact as you explore the craft - whether it's testing interactive web applications and mobile apps, assessing agentic AI solutions, delving into performance and resiliency, or championing accessibility.

You will receive:

• 25 days’ annual leave, rising to 30 days with each year of service.

• Generous family leave policies.

• Access to an employer pension scheme and group life assurance.

• A range of optional benefits such as discounted gym membership and a cycle-to-work scheme.

At Scott Logic, we value the flexibility of remote working alongside the value gained from spending time with our colleagues and clients. In our offices you’ll find colleague-led clubs and events, as well as free games, books, and refreshments. Our graduates start with a training programme in your base office to support collaboration and learning. Over time there will likely be occasional travel (day trips or a few days at a time) to visit our clients across the UK and beyond.

We have shared values that govern our behaviour toward others and the environment. We are proud to be a B Corp, a global movement of businesses driving for a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.

We believe diversity drives innovation, and embrace a culture where everyone can contribute, irrespective of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability.
