Job Description
Summary: Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry. They are seeking a SkillBridge Intern to analyze training needs, develop training programs, and provide technical guidance for project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing training needs of managements and/or customer
- Gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing discussions to derive loosely defined requirements while designing and developing training programs to meet technical training needs and problems
- Planning, evaluating, organizing, and developing training curricula and materials to meet specific training needs
- Reviewing and analyzing Fleet training policy and standards
- Monitoring and recommending changes to organizational and programmatic process and procedures that align to fleet training policy and standards
- Planning, developing and delivering instruction and guidance to trainers
- Providing technical guidance for project team
- Organizing, coordinating, and facilitating training during introduction of new courses
- Maintaining record of training activities and participant progress
- Developing surveys for target audience to assist in the monitoring of the effectiveness of the programs
Required Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of military experience
- Experience in conducting fleet training analyses and developing training required for roles involving instructional design
- Bachelor's degree in English or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with others, manage multiple priorities, and present information effectively
- High analytical skills, leadership skills, and problem-solving skills are also important
- U.S. citizenship
- U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level with Top Secret / SCI eligibility
