Summary: Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative, and detailed individual for their Construction Management Intern position. The ideal candidate will support project tracking, documentation, and administrative tasks while gaining real-world experience in construction management. Responsibilities: - Support Property Management Manager and Project Coordinators with project tracking, documentation, and administrative tasks - Track project schedules in MS Project, maintain daily job logs, and report project feedback - Process RFIs and product submittals; update drawing files and improve archives and materials library - Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers, including planning vendor visits and field office setup - Continuously identify, monitor, and improve operational and office processes Required Qualifications: - Are a current student pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Business, Design, or Architecture - Have strong computer skills, especially 2D/3D CAD, MS Office Suite, and MS Project - Have excellent proofreading skills - Have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills - Can learn concepts and technical details of products - Are able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment - Are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities - Have background check results satisfactory to SEL - Have negative drug test result(s) Required Skills: 2D CAD, 3D CAD, MS Office Suite, MS Project, Proofreading, Speaking Benefits: Flexible schedules that accommodate classes and studying, Wellness resources, Community connection, Kickstarting retirement savings
