Job Description
Summary: Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is developing applications to solve real-world challenges. They are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to contribute to both frontend and backend development, focusing on designing and implementing software services.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating on the specification, design, implementation, deployment, testing, documentation, and user manuals of software applications
- Recommending and implementing processes following industry best practices for developing, testing, and deploying software
- Serving as a technical contact for internal and external customers
- Collaborate with product experts to understand requirements to design and implement quality solutions
Required Qualifications:
- United States Citizenship is required
- You have a BA/BS degree in Computer Science (CS), or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- You have experience with application development in these areas: C#, Go, .NET
- You have experience with application development in these areas: Typescript + React
- You have experience with application development in these areas: Test Automation
- You have experience with application development in these areas: Microservice Architectures
- You are able to collaborate in a team environment
- You have strong technical writing skills
