They are seeking an Associate Continuous Improvement Engineer to support their Asian plant operations in Pasadena, TX, focusing on optimizing operational conditions and enhancing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: - Create centerline targets for optimal operational conditions - Develop control strategies to enable operations to respond to out-of-limit centerlines - Analyze operational data to identify and prioritize loss data - Lead or participate in production trials to eliminate waste or improve operational capabilities using lean tools such as a cause and effect analysis, PDCA, and improvement Kata - Participate in the DMS process and lead the development of a visual factory through 5S standards, performance metrics, and communication boards - Lead and participate in problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams - Support the development and validation of new capacity and processes - Works closely with GSC personnel to develop or enhance new processes across the GSC workstreams - Facilitates improvement teams or improvement events - Analyze processes and procedures to identify and develop opportunities to improve safety, and quality, increase capacity, and improve productivity - Utilize change management strategies for implementation - Use project management tools to define project requirements and milestones, track progress, resolve problems, communicate progress, and recommend actions Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field - Entry-level knowledge; we are open to hiring the right candidate fresh out of school - Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and MS Project - Understanding of general industrial processes and control systems - Working knowledge of basic statistical tools - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and successfully leverage internal and external resources, along with multiple projects and assignments, deadlines and achieve objectives - Ability to lead cross-functional improvement teams Required Skills: MS Office Suite, MS Project, Industrial Processes, Control Systems, Statistical Tools, Lean Tools, Cause and Effect Analysis, PDCA, Improvement Kata, 5S Standards, Project Management Benefits: Eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance, A competitive Total Rewards package focusing on your overall well-being, A strong foundation of health benefits, Retirement and financial wellbeing, Time off programs, Wellbeing support programs
