Job Description
Summary: Bullitt County Schools is seeking an instructional assistant for the 2026-2027 school year at Bullitt Alternative Center. The role involves working closely with certified teachers to provide instruction, monitor student behavior, and collaborate with staff to ensure student progress.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction individually or in small groups
- Help monitor behaviors with the teacher
- Work with all staff collaboratively to ensure student progress
- Collect data to discuss student progress
Required Qualifications:
- Must meet one of the following: 48 college semester hours, An Associate's Degree, or High school diploma plus a passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment Exam
- Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students is strongly desired
