Responsibilities:
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students
- Follow lesson plans and curriculum goals established by the Classroom Teacher
- Assess the accomplishment of students when requested and provide progress reports as needed
- Assist the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct, and, for the classroom, develop reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintain order in the classroom in a fair and just manner
- Assist the administration in implementing District goals and policies related to the educational and operational needs of the District
- Monitor multiple classrooms daily under the direction of building administration
- Perform any other related task or duty at the direction of the building principal or designee

Required Qualifications:
- The Building Substitute Teacher shall possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
