Satori is growing! Hiring a detail-oriented Environmental Technician to join our Anchorage-based team. This is an early-career role that offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced environmental professionals, supporting site investigations, hazardous material assessments, sampling, and technical writing. You will play a key part in collecting environmental data, interpreting regulations, analytical results, interfacing with the public and contributing to the delivery of high-quality consulting services. This position requires a strong work ethic, initiative, and the ability to work independently both in the field and an office setting.
Conduct environmental site assessments and hazardous building material surveys (asbestos, lead, mold, etc.)
Collect samples, perform field inspections and document site conditions
Author clear, accurate technical reports and regulatory documentation within assigned submission deadlines
Apply environmental regulations and best practices in the field
Follow all job site health and safety protocols
Travel to project sites throughout Alaska
Bachelor's degree (4+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
Experience working in a professional, office-based role
Articulate communicator, both verbal and written
Self-motivated and ambitious, with the ability to work independent and collaboratively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and Word
Valid drivers license and ability to travel as needed
