How you will make contributions that matter As the National Account Manager – Independent Grocery (Metcash), you will take ownership of a key national portfolio and drive growth through strong customer partnerships and category leadership. Key elements of your role will include: Developing and executing Joint Business Plans to deliver sales growth and category performance Building strong, long-term relationships with Metcash and becoming a trusted commercial partner Driving distribution, share of shelf, profitability and market share outcomes Leading forecasting and demand planning accuracy across internal and external stakeholders Analysing market and scan data to identify opportunities and drive strategic decisions Managing P&L outcomes including trade investment and promotional planning Supporting new product development, tenders and key customer initiatives About you Proven experience in a National Account Manager Strong experience within Independent Grocery (essential) / Metcash Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial growth and strategic account plans Strong financial and commercial acumen with P&L ownership experience Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical capability with experience using market data/scan insights A proactive, resilient mindset with a drive to exceed results We’ll support you with The opportunity to make contributions that matter, whilst being supported by a multinational, values-led company A competitive salary package including bonus opportunity Ongoing learning and development to support your growth and career progression Exposure to a high-profile national customer and strategic projects Ability to participate in our Employee Share Ownership Program Click on Apply for this job to submit your application.
