Job Summary

Our client is an emerging Nigerian travel agency based in Abuja, focused on delivering personalized, modern, and accessible travel experiences. The organisation is currently seeking a professional with strong practical experience in the travel industry.

The Travel Consultant should be able to confidently handle flight reservations and ticketing, itinerary planning, hotel bookings travel documentation, fare rules and changes, cancellations and refunds and general client travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

1. Manage flight ticketing and reservations using Amadeus and other GDS platforms.

2. Plan, package, and sell tours and holiday packages tailored to client needs.

3. Provide expert guidance on study abroad admission procedures and application timelines.

4. Advise clients on visa application requirements and processes for major international destinations.

5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

6. Coordinate with travel partners, international schools, and embassies to ensure seamless client experiences.

Requirements

1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field.

2. At least 2 years of proven experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Agent.

3. Must have a valid IATA certification.

4. Knowledge of airline reservation/ticketing systems

5. Experience with multiple GDS platforms

6. Be comfortable dealing with airlines and travel suppliers, and be able to advise clients professionally on their travel options.

7. Experience with international travel, visa assistance, visa regulations, holiday packages, and Umrah arrangements would be an added advantage.

8. Excellent communication, detail-oriented, proactive with strong organizational skills.

9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a collaborative team player.

10. Existing network with international schools or corporate travel partners.(Is an added advantage

Pay: From ₦250,000.00 per month
