The Structured Trade Finance Analyst develops, analyzes, and executes specialized financing solutions for international trade and commodity transactions, focusing on risk mitigation and financial modeling.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement tailored financing solutions (e.g., prepayments, inventory finance, borrowing base facilities)
- Analyze and mitigate risks using instruments like insurance guarantees and letters of credit
- Create complex working capital models, forecast trends, and analyze collateral (inventory, receivables)
- Negotiate with lenders/counterparties and prepare legal documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or Engineering
- 1-3 year experience in commodity finance, corporate banking, or trade finance
- Advanced Excel modeling, knowledge of financial instruments, and risk assessment techniques
- Strong negotiation, multi-tasking, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage client and bank relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education
- Experience in Microsoft Office products
