Santander Digital Services is looking for a Performance & Automation lead – Threat Detection & Response Governance Office based out of Boadilla del Monte office
What you will do:
Track and manage action items, risks, and dependencies identified during governance forums, ensuring timely closure and appropriate escalation. Coordinate with key TDR functions (Threat Detection & Monitoring, Global CERT, Global SOC, Global CTI, CTS, and TDR Governance Office) to ensure alignment and consistency across initiatives.
Identify opportunities and lead execution to leverage Artificial Intelligence and automation across TDR.
Translate business and operational needs into clear AI and automation use cases, including functional and non-functional requirements.
Prepare, organize, and run regular governance meetings with CISOs and CTUs, including agenda definition, materials preparation, minutes, and follow-up of agreed actions.
Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing internal processes and drive improvements to strengthen governance and service performance.
Act as the primary interface between GRC Finance and TDR to maintain budget tracking and financial performance.
Support contract and service catalogue reviews from a governance and financial perspective.
Oversee the collection and validation of KPIs and SLAs across TDR services, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Own the TDR videowall service, ensuring content is accurate and up to date, and that the supporting infrastructure operates in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Professional Experience:
Experience in cybersecurity governance, preferably within Threat Detection & Response, SOC, or Incident Response environments.
Proven experience defining governance frameworks and operating models.
Experience working with financial tracking, budgeting, or cost control in a technology or cybersecurity context.
Experience managing KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics in cybersecurity operations.
Exposure to automation and/or AI use cases in cybersecurity or operations (practical, no research-only profiles).
Experience leading teams and working across complex, global organizations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field (required).
Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent (required).
Languages:
Spanish (required).
Professional proficiency in English (minimum C1 level) (required).
Hard Skills:
Cybersecurity Governance & Operating Models.
Threat Detection & Response (TDR) / SOC environments.
Ability to define business requirements for Data and AI use cases.
Performance Management (KPIs, SLAs, metrics).
Financial Governance & Cost Management.
Automation & Process Optimization (e.g., workflow tools, RPA, orchestration).
Risk Management frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, DORA).
Soft Skills:
Stakeholder management, including senior leadership (CISO-level).
Ability to translate complex technical concepts (AI, automation, cybersecurity) into business-relevant insights.
Strong communication and reporting capabilities.
Structured and results-oriented mindset.
Ability to drive coordination across multiple teams and domains.
