Intern - Financial & Commercial Planning at Santander in Miami

Summary: Santander is a global leader and innovator in the financial services industry and is evolving from a high-impact brand into a technology-driven organization. The intern will assist the Commercial & Financial Planning department by supporting various financial tasks and gaining exposure to the core business drivers. Responsibilities: - Support preparation for the upcoming strategic planning process, including organizing and setting up key financial files, templates, and supporting documentation - Partner with FP&A and CP&A teams to contribute to routine financial deliverables and gain exposure to core business drivers - Assist with the monthly close process, including data consolidation, validation, and variance analysis - Perform recurring financial and operational analyses to support decision-making and performance tracking - Extract, organize, and interpret financial data from internal systems to generate insights and improve reporting efficiency Required Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree - Required - Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate - Willing to learn and get hands-on experience - Attention to detail and follow through - Dedication to the team's success - Languages: English & Spanish Required Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Financial analysis Important Skills: Data consolidation Nice-to-Have Skills: Bilingual (English & Spanish)
