The Corporate Strategy Lead reports to the Head of Corporate Strategy under the sponsorship of the Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Committee members, with a focus on transversal strategic planning exercise. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the company’s long-term strategic direction, evaluating new business opportunities, and supporting executive-level decision-making. You will work cross-functionally with senior leaders across R&D, Commercial, Finance, and M&A to identify growth opportunities, address key challenges, and deliver actionable insights.

Main responsibilities:
As a valued team member, work proactively with the Corporate Strategy Head, bringing both rigor and agility in each project
Contribute to the PSW preparation and coordinate TA strategy network
Lead strategic evaluations of Sanofi’s R&D and commercial portfolio, guiding prioritization and resource allocation across therapeutic areas.
Partner with R&D and Finance to conduct forward-looking assessments of pipeline value, risk-adjusted ROI, and portfolio diversification.
Support cross-functional governance forums by delivering robust strategic insights.
Identify gaps, overlaps, and high-impact opportunities within the portfolio that align with enterprise objectives
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the Executive Committee and a core member of the Corporate Strategy leadership team
Mentor junior team members and foster a high-performing, collaborative culture.
Act as a strategic integrator, connecting global insights across R&D, commercial, and finance to drive unified action
Contribute to Strategy Board meeting preparation
About you
Education / Experience
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required
Advanced Degree (PhD in Life Sciences, MD, Pharm D) preferred
A minimum of 10+ years of direct experience in the life sciences industry and/or Strategy Consulting. Previous experience in a grounded business position would be a plus
Core competencies /skills
Robust analytic and presentation skills including expert ppt skills
Agility, Flexibility and ability to manage the ambiguity
Ability to manage workload and prioritize among project activities
Prioritization skills, strong focus and ability to structure and communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly
Strong interpersonal skills and customer oriented
Leadership skills required to influence outcomes, communicate/collaborate with all levels of the organization, and facilitate development of solutions to address critical business needs
Ability to interface with Senior Executives, Senior leaders, Technical and scientific expert, to bring new perspective and question the status quo
Fluent in English; French and/or other foreign languages is a plus

The salary range for this position is :€134,400.00 - €179,200
Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
