Job Description
Summary: Sanofi is an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving people’s lives. The PDMD department is seeking a motivated student intern to work on projects that transform patient care through innovative technology solutions and data-driven insights, contributing to patient engagement and healthcare data analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Support departmental projects and initiatives related to patient engagement
- Assist with data analysis, visualization, and reporting activities to generate insights on patient outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members on patient engagement projects
- Contribute to research and documentation efforts on patient journeys
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing opportunities
- Help with testing and quality assurance of applications and platforms
- Assist with database maintenance and information management activities
- Support process improvement initiatives within the department
- Contribute to the development of presentations and materials for stakeholders
- Help with administrative and operational tasks as needed to support team objectives
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical or Chemical Engineering, Biology, Life Sciences, Public Health with technology focus, Data Science, Analytics, or related technical or healthcare field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your degree by Spring 2028
- Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
- Must have been a researcher at Sanofi during the summer of 2025
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Basic data analysis and spreadsheet skills, including creating charts and simple formulas
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to learn new software and tools quickly
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint)
- Basic research and information gathering skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with databases and information management systems at a foundational level
- Basic understanding of data visualization concepts
- Ability to create clear and professional presentations and documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare technology and patient-centered solutions
