Job Description
Summary: Sanmina Corporation is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services market. They are seeking a highly motivated Intern to join their Manufacturing Engineering team, where the individual will support the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Engineering team in the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes
- Assist with the development and maintenance of manufacturing process documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations
- Conduct data analysis and develop recommendations for process improvement
- Participate in cross-functional projects and provide support as needed
- Perform engineering change processes as necessary to support existing products
- Tests prototypes and standard products and write reports to document the results
- Categorize a wide arrangement of existing parts
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
Required Qualifications:
- Currently in year 3 or 4, or a post-graduate, of a 4-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related Engineering field
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Be able to work minimum three days a week continually
- Ability to follow oral and written guidelines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Organized and detail oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office and Google Suite
- Strong commitment to respect, integrity, and accountability
- Willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas
