The Engineer I role involves optimizing manufacturing system logic, managing semiconductor manufacturing software applications, and providing on-call system operation support. Responsibilities: - Lead the optimization effort on creating new manufacturing system logic to improve system performance and reduce costs - In charge of multiple semiconductor manufacturing software applications, including Material Control System (MCS), Master Control Processor (MCP), and internal system application improve the reliability and sustainability of System through configuration optimization and pre-task plan release management - Configure all Fab Process Tool equipment and devices and maintain system user interface inside the system for tool automation - Pick up new industry technologies to innovate how engineers sustain the operation - Plan preventative maintenance activities and provide awareness of system performance - Provide 24-7 on-call system operation support and troubleshoot for any system issues within the Automated Material Handling System - Work inside Fab Cleanroom Environment for system operation and hardware troubleshooting, train technicians and operator on System Operation - Work closely with support and development engineers in Global Headquarters in South Korea and System software vendors on patch deployment (upgrade) - Host conference call with Global Headquarters in South Korea to collaborate with HQ Korean System Engineers - Create standard operation procedure, technical documentation for best practice - Plan Capital Project and go through investment process - Create ARB (Architecture Review Board) materials for making investment of new servers Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving Unix and Linux system administration - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving Server Architectures - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving Programming languages: Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving Development tool knowledge: React.js, .NET, Node.js, and Docker - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving Oracle SQL - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving CD/CI knowledge: CodeCommit, github, gitlab, and Jenkins - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving Jira, Confluence - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving Quality Assurance - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving REST-based API - Completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving Agile development with Scrum Required Skills: Unix, Linux, Server Architectures Important Skills: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, React.js, .NET, Node.js, Docker, Oracle SQL, CD/CI Nice-to-Have Skills: Jira, Confluence, Quality Assurance, REST-based API, Agile development Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, Life insurance and 401(k) matching with immediate vesting, Onsite café(s) and workout facilities, Paid maternity and paternity leave, Paid time off (PTO) + 2 personal holidays and 10 regular holidays, Wellness incentives and MORE
