Summary: Samsung Ads is a part of Samsung Electronics Home Appliance America, and they are seeking a Warehouse Automation Engineer Intern. This role involves assisting the Material Management Team in creating, designing, and improving automation processes for efficient supply flow. Responsibilities: - Provide technical support to warehouse and other related functions - Leads Material Handling process improvement methods, and systems for products, facilities, fixtures, tooling, equipment, and/or materials - Design, implement, and review Warehouse procedures and equipment - Identify areas for improvement and maintain high levels of warehouse and product quality - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make improvements in all major MSI KPI’s - Brainstorm and present new Automation ideas and realization - Design/Create autonomous material handling solutions for warehouse environment from unloading container to Material issuing through Autonomous technology and systems - Review and critic Autonomous warehouse ideas given by the HQ and upgrade - Create a comprehensive PM Plan for AGVs and operation - Improve material handling processes such as touchless handlings from dock to dock Required Qualifications: - Must be a rising/junior pursuing a four-year degree in Warehouse management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field - Prior work and/or internship experience in an Engineering field is ideal, but not required - Must have coursework in engineering studies, and/or a related science field - Computer Skills (MS Office, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, etc.) - All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs Required Skills: Warehouse management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MS Office, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor
