Summary: Samsung Ads is seeking an EHS Safety Intern to learn about safety measures and occupational health requirements while engaging in EHS-related projects. The intern will work on safety components within the Integrated Management System and assist with various EHS tasks and special projects. Responsibilities: - Work on safety and occupational health components within the Integrated Management System - Assist with tasks during HQ EHS/Infrastructure and internal ISO audits - Assist with regulatory evaluation and reporting requirements - Monitor for EHS key performance indicators - Assist with materials management for the Hazard Communication Program - Assist with develop training materials and communication materials - Facilitate ergonomics assessments (recording) - Conduct IP address mapping of all safety devices and interlocks (DX Meta Factory) - Mapping fire system trouble alarms - Conduct trending industrial hygiene data Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a four-year degree in either Environmental Science, Studies, Health, Engineering, or Sustainability, OR a related science degree (i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Environmental Education) - Prior work and/or internship experience in a science field is ideal, but not required - Knowledge of Microsoft office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and Access); knowledge of coding and Canva is a plus - Ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods of time (up to 1 hour), use standard office equipment, work outdoors, and wear Personal Protective Equipment (hard toe safety shoes, safety glasses/goggles, and hearing protection) - All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs Required Skills: Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Integrated Management System, ISO Audits, Regulatory Evaluation, EHS Key Performance Indicators, Hazard Communication Program, Ergonomics Assessment, Industrial Hygiene, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Coding, Canva, Personal Protective Equipment
