Summary: Salt River Project (SRP) is one of the largest public power and water utilities in the U.S. seeking a motivated College Intern to support their teams while gaining hands-on experience. The role involves assisting with data analysis, operational events, and project management to enhance grid reliability and performance. Responsibilities: - Research, track, and update operational and performance data to support system reliability and improvement initiatives - Assist with analysis of operational events, including Human & Operational Performance (HOP) submissions and trend tracking - Support development of reports and tools used for performance monitoring and decision-making related to Reliability Coordinator integration and operational improvement projects - Support project management activities, including tracking milestones, deliverables, and action items - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across transmission and generation operations Required Qualifications: - A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required - Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite & Outlook - Exceptional writing skills and verbal communication - Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to structure and manage content effectively - Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work to meet deadlines - Self-motivated with strong accountability and ownership of assigned tasks - Ability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid or telework environment - The anticipated schedule is 20-25 hours per week, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week during summer months (school schedule permitting) - All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States - Currently, SRP does not sponsor H1B visas, OPT, or other employment-related visas Preferred Qualifications: - College level coursework (100 or higher) from an accredited institution is preferred. Management will evaluate college-level coursework individually to determine if it is applicable to the position and relevant to the required skills.
