Summary: Safran Federal Systems is looking for a highly motivated and driven Software Engineer Intern to join their team. The intern will work on designing and implementing new features for GNSS simulator products, contributing to the overall success of the product line and customer projects. Responsibilities: - Designs and implements software for embedded systems - Responsible for following, developing, and evolving software development best practices - Responsible for requirements management and quality assurance of software products - Expected to function outside of normal job function when needed by the project team, or the company - Responsible for reporting status or sharing knowledge with management or other team members Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in engineering - Experience with Linux - Experience with C/C++, C#, or Python - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Positive attitude, willingness to learn - Ability to move throughout the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc - Ability to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time Required Skills: C/C++, Python, Linux Important Skills: Embedded systems Nice-to-Have Skills: Willingness to learn
