Summary: S3I Engineering provides specialty engineering services and operational support to US Government agencies. They are currently looking for entry to mid-level Software Test Engineers to test complex mission management systems and ensure mission success. The role involves working with cutting-edge technology and requires a DOD Secret clearance. Responsibilities: - Installing, Configuring, and Testing Systems and Software - Configuring test bench systems to test software requirements - Interacting with government representatives and other contractor staff - Developing and documenting software test procedures - Field testing in various locations, environments, vessels, and facilities - Troubleshooting systems and software to perform root cause analysis Required Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science Degree, or equivalent years of experience, in Engineering or other technical fields such as Computer Science, Computer Hardware, Mathematics, or Physics - DOD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one - Computer hardware and software troubleshooting experience using the Linux command line - Familiarity with both DoD and DCSA cybersecurity practices - Familiarity with DoD sensor systems including EO/IR, Radar, SIGINT, and others - Familiarity with using DoD cloud platforms, including IL5 environments and higher - Strong organizational and communications skills - US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance is required - Must be able to lift and carry ~40 Lbs - Must be able to maneuver in confined spaces - Must be able to access various government location, facilities, and vessels - Must have reliable transportation to travel between office and government facilities Preferred Qualifications: - Previous Minotaur experience strongly desired - Knowledge of software development tools and techniques - Familiarity with software configuration management and version control systems - Software troubleshooting skills - Knowledge of DoD mission systems, sensors, and networks Required Skills: Linux command line, DoD cybersecurity practices, DoD sensor systems Important Skills: DoD cloud platforms, Software troubleshooting Nice-to-Have Skills: Software development tools, Software configuration management, Version control systems, Complex problem assessment, Organizational skills, Communication skills Benefits: Medical and Dental benefits, Holiday and Paid Leave, 401K with Matching, Profit-Sharing Plan
