Description
Purpose of the Job: Responsible for managing and owning OEM business relationships/contracts to create value for the business by building strong relationships with OEM Partners, understanding the market, developing strategic growth plans, leading business reviews and owning the business aspects of OEM Partner contracts
Reports To: Director of Strategic Alliances
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create value for S3 and OEM Partners
- Develop strategic plans and growth initiatives by OEM to drive and deliver growth
- Strengthen relationships with OEM Partners
- Drive increased sales through monthly cross-functional Voice of the Customer (VOC)
- Maintain OEM opportunity funnel for assigned OEM portfolio
- Expand or secure additional exclusive content/agreements within the assigned OEM portfolio
- Act as a strategic point of contact and drive contractual performance for assigned OEM Partner Accounts
- Educate internal stakeholders on OEM contracts, product lines, and how to navigate within OEMs'organizational structure relative to execution related issues
- Travel to OEMs to perform Strategic Business Reviews
- Run and analyze all contractually required reports per OEM agreements, for assigned OEM Partner Account(s)
- Perform periodic internal performance reviews of the OEM product lines
- Prepare S3 leadership for meetings with OEM Executive Leadership at airshows or other large events
- Work to maintain data integrity on OEM parts within S3 ERP system
- Act as next level of support to help solve operational issues if S3 Buyer is unable to obtain resolution
- Work with and provide guidance to supply chain on strategic purchases/sourcing requirements
- Monitor activity within assigned OEM portfolio to ensure contract adherence
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or related function
- Industry experience in business development and OEM strategic capture/management
- Aerospace aftermarket support industry experience required
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft office
- Strong excel/analytical skills, preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong proficiency with technology and business computer applications
- Strong contract language and negotiation skills
- Industry experience 5+ years
- Vendor/Partner Management experience 5+ years
- Up to 50% domestic travel, limited international
