Job Description
Summary: S&P Global is a leading provider of credit ratings, benchmarks, analytics, and workflow solutions. They are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Summer Intern to assist in building and maintaining relationships with asset managers and wealth managers, while gaining insights into the distribution business model and the wealth management industry.
Responsibilities:
- Support with client outreach alongside asset managers
- Collaborate on reporting and creating actionable intelligence for managers, key internal stakeholders, and clients
- Learn Salesforce and enters meeting / call notes
- Resolve advisor and Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) sales consultant queries for content, data, and analysis
- Assist in planning, coordination with ETF sponsor partners and follow up for key client travel, presentations and meetings
- Assist in creation, delivery and updates of internal strategy and external client presentation decks
Required Qualifications:
- Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or relevant academic program completed by May 2027
- Demonstrates interest in math, equity, and fixed income market and investments
- Previous experience with financial services or strategic/consultant type internship
- Manages own work with some supervision and strives for excellence
- Exceptional communications skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to collaborate exceptionally across teams and at all levels in an organization
- Ability to balance daily duties and larger scale projects
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Right to Work Requirements: This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is a plus
