Summary: S&P Global is a leading provider of credit ratings and analytics, and they are seeking an Inside Sales Summer Intern to support their North American Client Coverage team. The intern will assist in various stages of the sales cycle, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to strategic projects aimed at enhancing workflow efficiencies and client satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with the sales team to respond to and process client inquiries while actively shadowing sales associates throughout the entire sales cycle, gaining substantial exposure to sales enablement workflows and processes - Participate in Sales deals - Sales Orders, Opportunities, and Entitlements (Data, IP, and Custom) - Effectively collaborate with our local and global internal teams such as Finance, Product Management, Data Product Management, Client Services, Legal - Work on primary strategic-based projects that assist with general workflow efficiencies and exposure to sales - Drive customer satisfaction and adoption within existing accounts - Monitor usage and keep Sales Representatives up to date with relevant statistics, KPIs and key regional or global initiatives - Intern to expect heavy exposure to sales enablement workflow and processes; shadowing - Sales Associate Playbook Contribution: Document and organize best practices and team learnings.
