Summary: Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Ops Specialist in Arlington, TX for their Supply Chain Solutions division. The role involves specialized operational functions for assigned work groups, including troubleshooting, training, and ensuring operational goals are met while interacting with customers and carriers. Responsibilities: - Communicate daily/shift goals of facility and work group(s). Communicate and report plans to obtain operational goals - Assist with and train hourly, SNE or other specialists - Lead and initiate employees through in-depth training and continuous review of employee understanding of policies, procedures and processes - Decision Making for location activities to include but not limited to demand planning, supplier calls, customer interactions, specialized process troubleshooting, etc - Support and aid in the development of system and process training for employees in the work group(s).
