They are seeking an intern to research, plan, design, and develop mechanical test systems for production testing environments, while also participating in the integration and validation of these systems against accuracy and reliability requirements. Responsibilities: - Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments - Participate in integrating and validating test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements - Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions Required Qualifications: - This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program and will be at Junior, Senior or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2026 - Must be pursuing a Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance - Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date Preferred Qualifications: - 3.0 cumulative GPA desired - Education and/or Experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering, STEM major, Test systems integration Important Skills: CAD solid modeling, Research Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Short-term disability, Long-term disability, 401(k) match, Flexible spending accounts, Flexible work schedules, Employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, Parental leave, Paid time off, Holidays
